Well Christmas is nearly here and I bet you are all busy with last minute preparations but just so you know and keep a look out our new workshop list for January - March is being prepared as we speak and should be available in the shop and on the website very very soon - hopefully you will find something that takes your fancy - dont forget to book early as places go really quickly and I wouldnt want you to miss out.  Enjoy your Christmas cardmaking (if you havent already finished - I havent even started yet! ) and I'll see you all soon :)

Wednesday night crafting session

All of us busy playing!!
Hi all, firstly sorry I haven't updated the blog for a while but I've been very busy, making cards, sorting out workshops and getting ready for my girlie weekend. (I'm going away this weekend for a catch up with some friends).  Last Wednesday we had our monthly get together after work to catch up on some crafty talk and play with some new goodies.  After we had filled ourselves up on a Chinese takeaway we got down to business.  We played with some new stencils, inking them with distress inks and then running them through the cuttlebug to give a really different look (Rene actually did a couple of classes on this and was really popular).  They we played with some new clear stamp sets by Marianne - they are GORGEOUS!!.  They are boy or girl and come with the boy/girl figure and clothes to dress them in - we stamped the figures and coloured them with letraset promarkers and then stamped their clothes on different patterned paper (Di is doing a couple of workshops using these -  "paper piecing") - Check out all the pictures above to see what fun we had and check out the website for supplies!!.  Lastly we would all like to congratulate "Our Sally" because her card was featured in Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine - Well Done Sally!!

NEC Hobbycraft Show Day Out

Di, Michelle and I all went to the NEC Hobbycrafts Show yesterday and what a great day we had - unfortunately Rene couldn't make it - she was "Molly sitting"- we missed you!! We were like children at Toys R Us! We didnt know where to start first. But after we had said "hi" to Julie, (the Julie who used to take workshops) - she was demonstrating on "Once Upon a Stamp" stand, we snaked the isles and took in all the lovely crafting goodies. There were some lovely ideas and we took lots of photos and came home brimming with inspiration, especially Sarah who was playing with letraset pens (My Fave!!) and gave us some great tips, which hopefully we will put into practice in the next workshop list. I'm off now to sort out my crafty bits, make up some cards and I'll post some more photos soon.

New Additions to the Website

Hello again, just thought i'd give you a quick update of some new additions to the website. We have now added stickles, Kars ultra fine glitters, glamour dust, new Revell model kits and the latest November/December Do Crafts promotion so have a look around to see what you just can't do without!
And just to tease you .... coming soon .......... the new pink Cuttlebug and pink Cricut Expressions - yes I did say PINK!! Also being launched very soon is the new Cricut Gypsy which is a hand held portable version of the Cricut Design Studio so you can design on the go and then link to any Cricut machine and cut - how fab is that!!

And finally the October Privilege Card Holder draw has taken place and I am pleased to announce that the winner is Lorraine Macfarlane - Congratulations Lorraine. You have won a tote bag and craft goodies to the value of £50.00!! Don't forget the November draw is now underway so everytime you use your privilege card you will automatically be entered.

Hello All!! Just thought I'd share with you a card I made yesterday for my friend's daughter. I wanted to use some new decoupage sheets we have in by Marianne Design and combine it with my new Martha Stewart snowflake border punch as she has a winter birthday! I was really pleased with the result because you can also use the tiny snowflakes you punch out to embellish your card - I also like the fact that you get three sets of decoupage on each sheet so I still have two left to use :-). Hope you like it!

Cuttlebug Demo Day

Hello Crafters!! Well, what a day it was! Di was on brilliant form showing you all how to use your Cuttlebug. It was lovely to see so many of you join us. I'm sure you would all like to join me in thanking Di for all her hard work that goes into preparing for these demo days, but they are worth it when we receive so much wonderful feedback and we thank you for that. I've posted pictures of some of Di's cards she made so that you can look at them again. I would like to congratulate Belinda who won our free prize draw on the day and can look forward to spending a £10 gift voucher. The October prize draw for privilege card holders will take place shortly and I will post the name of the winner as soon as that is done. The November draw is underway so dont forget every time you use your card you will automatically be entered and you never know it could be you next time!!
